The picture that is being viral on social media, besides Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, Congress leader P. Chidambaram and P. V. Narasimha Rao is also found near Rahul Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.

The people who shared this image on social media wrote, "It is clear from what Gandhi family is praying in the manner of Indira Gandhi's funeral, it is clear what her genuine religion is."

The reverse image survey shows that this picture of the Gandhi family has been shared with social media on this claim before. Thousands of people have posted it on Facebook.

The results of the reverse image shows reveal that this image was first tweeted by author and politician Mohsin Dawar of Peshawar in Pakistan.
