Rahul Gandhi went to Wanad in fear of defeat against Smriti Irani in Amethi?
Rahul Gandhi went to Wanad in fear of defeat against Smriti Irani in Amethi?
In the Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi is contesting from two seats. Congress has officially announced that Rahul Gandhi will fight in the traditional seat Amethi, along with Kerala's Wayanad too.
Congress claims that Rahul Gandhi has taken this decision to strengthen the Congress's grip in South India.
However, like Rahul Gandhi made this announcement, BJP president Amit Shah has targeted Rahul Gandhi immediately.
He said that Rahul is fleeing from fear of BJP.
Congress claims that Rahul Gandhi was offered a proposal to contest from all three South Indian states.
The Congress Committee of Kerala, Tamilnadu and Karnataka declared a proposal that Rahul Gandhi would contest from anywhere in his constituency.
Did you read this or not?
Why is yanad?
Why was Rahul Gandhi elected to the Yanad seat? One of the reasons for this is that Wayanad is a strong stronghold of Congress.
Congress leader M. eye. Shanavas has won the last two elections and here BJP is not even in the race.
In 2014 eye. The seat was captured by defeating CPI by defeating the CPI.
Not only that, in 2009 also M. eye. Shanwas defeated CPI's Rahamatullah. It is noteworthy that this meeting came into existence after the re-election in 2008.
This meeting has come together in Kannur, Mallappuram and Yanad constituencies.
If voting for the last election in Yanad, Congress got 41.21% votes, while BJP got about 9%, and CPI got nearly 39% votes.
In the vote share, the Congress is less worried about the BJP than the CPI.
CPI can give a tough fight, but people in Kerala are also being seen as being disturbed by the Left.
Party Internal Clash in Wayanad
According to Congress sources, the purpose of selecting this seat is also to eliminate the party's internal clash.
There was a difference between the two prominent leaders of the Kerala Congress, Ramesh Chennithala and Oman Chandi, in the Wanad seat.
It was not decided who would stand from the Yanad seat. Now Rahul Gandhi has been taken to the ground by throwing it on the ground.
Senior Congress leaders believe that a more message is hidden behind the contest in Kerala.
Congress wants that they establish their dominion all over the country and fight not only with the BJP but also against every party which opposes the Congress.
Amethi is not a single Congress candidate
In 2014, Rahul Gandhi became MP for the third consecutive time from Amethi. He defeated his opponent BJP's Smriti Irani by 1,07,000 votes. When the Congress president's victory margin in 2009 was more than 350,000 votes.
Since then, the BJP has legitimately influenced Uttar Pradesh. The result was seen in Uttar Pradesh's assembly elections two years ago.
BJP occupies 312 out of 404 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh Amethi has five seats in the Vidhan Sabha seat. This includes Tiloi, Jagdishpur, Amethi and Gauriganj seats.
When the Salon assembly seat of Raebareli district comes. In the 2017 assembly elections, the BJP won 4 of these 5 seats and the Samajwadi Party won just one seat.
However, the SP-Congress coalition led the elections. Can not win though.
SP won the Gauriganj seat, but the Congress did not get a single seat.
Amethi is not safe now?
Rahul Gandhi was the first to contest elections from Amethi earlier. Rahul Gandhi has been a Member of the Amethi Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh for three times.
There is a news that Amethi is fighting against Rahul Gandhi of Smriti Irani. Apart from that, it may have an impact on Amethi after fighting Maneka Gandhi from Sultanpur.
Rahul Gandhi has decided to contest from two seats.
Indira and Sonia have also fought elections from South India.
It is not that the top Congress leaders are contesting the elections for the first time from two seats.
Indira Gandhi won Lok Sabha by-election from Chikmangalur seat in Karnataka in 1978.
When Sonia won the Bellary seat of Karnataka in 1999. He defeated Sushma Swaraj.
The name of the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi can also be named in the fight for two seats. They also contested Lok Sabha elections from two seats in Varanasi and Vadodara in 2014.
He achieved victory on both seats. However, later he left Vadodara seat and chose Varanasi seat.
Now Congress is in the effort Rahul Gandhi wins both seats. Rahul Gandhi's straight defeat in Amethi is with Smriti Irani of BJP.
When Congress party's coalition partner in Wayanad faces the United Democratic Front with the Left Democratic Front. Rahul Gandhi won both these seats and what seats he will hold will be the only time.
It is also speculated that Rahul may give Amethi seat to his sister Priyanka Gandhi in the future.
